FIRST LEGO League

2025-2026 FIRST Program Registration

We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2025–2026 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) season with STEMOTICS opens on May 14!

As we prepare for another incredible year of building, coding, and innovation, we want to share that, like many organizations, we are navigating rising costs in materials, electronics, events, and logistics. To continue delivering the high-quality, engaging FLL experience your children love, there will be adjustments in registration fees and program pricing this season.

At STEMOTICS, we are committed to making FLL accessible and impactful for every student. We’ll continue working with sponsors and community partners to offer team grants, equipment support, and fundraising opportunities to keep this amazing program within reach for all families.

FIRST LEGO League is more than just robotics – it’s about teamwork, problem-solving, and inspiring the next generation of innovators. When compared to other after-school activities and traditional sports, FLL remains a high-value, high-impact program that builds real-world skills and confidence in every participant.

Thank you for being part of the STEMOTICS community and the FIRST mission. We can’t wait to launch into another season of creativity, learning, and fun with your child!

Let’s get ready for an exciting 2025–2026 season!

FIRST LEGO League (FLL)

The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a globally recognized robotics program that inspires young minds to explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) through exciting, hands-on challenges. Designed for kids aged 4 to 16 (age range varies by region), FLL encourages creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking as students work together to solve real-world problems.

What is FLL?

The FLL program combines the thrill of robotics with the excitement of innovation. Participants use LEGO® robotics kits to design, build, and program robots capable of completing missions on a themed playing field. Each year, teams tackle a new challenge focusing on topics such as space exploration, renewable energy, or environmental sustainability.

Why Join FLL?

  • Build problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Gain hands-on experience in robotics and engineering.
  • Engage with real-world issues through innovative projects.
  • Connect with a global community of young innovators.

Theme of year 2025-2026

FIRST® LEGO® League (ages 9-14 / grades 4-8) introduces STEM to children through fun, hands-on challenges using LEGO® technology. Participants gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided, global robotics program, helping students, families, and educators build a better future together.

FIRST LEGO League inspires youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills and showcase what they learned.

In the UNEARTHED™ challenge, to be released August 5, 2025, FIRST LEGO League teams will uncover the past to discover the future.
