We’re excited to announce that registration for the 2025–2026 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) season with STEMOTICS opens on May 14!
It’s never too early to discover STEM. FIRST LEGO League Explore introduces science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts to kids ages 6 to 10 while exciting them through a brand they know and love − LEGO®.
Guided by adult Coaches, teams of up to 6 members explore a real-world scientific problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc. Then they create a Show-Me poster that illustrates their journey of discovery and introduces their team.
They also construct a motorized model of what they learned using LEGO elements. In the process, teams learn about teamwork, the wonders of science and technology, and the FIRST LEGO League Explore Core Values, which include respect, sharing, and critical thinking. At the close of each season, teams come together at a Festival to strut their stuff, share ideas, celebrate, and have fun!
Let’s get ready for an exciting 2025–2026 season!

Regional Season
Please note: The monthly fee remains the same regardless of the number of practice hours, even as training time increases closer to the competition.
FIRST® LEGO® League Explore (FLL Explore) is a STEM program designed for children aged 6 to 10. It introduces kids to the foundations of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through hands-on, playful learning using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential or WeDo 2.0 kits.
🌍 Real-World Theme: Each season has a global challenge related to real-life problems (e.g., transportation, energy, environment).
🤖 LEGO Robotics: Kids build a moving model with LEGO parts and motors/sensors.
📖 Teamwork & Research: They work in small teams, conduct research, and create a Show Me Poster to share what they’ve learned.
🎉 Festival Style Event: Instead of a competition, the program ends with a celebration event where kids present their projects and get recognition.
FLL Explore helps children:
Build teamwork and communication skills
Learn to solve problems creatively
Get introduced to the basics of coding and engineering
Gain confidence in presenting their ideas\
The FLL program combines the thrill of robotics with the excitement of innovation. Participants use LEGO® robotics kits to design, build, and program robots capable of completing missions on a themed playing field. Each year, teams tackle a new challenge focusing on topics such as space exploration, renewable energy, or environmental sustainability.
At STEMOTICS, we’re proud to support young learners in their journey through the FIRST LEGO League. Our FLL programs provide:
FIRST LEGO League inspires youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills and showcase what they learned.
In the UNEARTHED™ challenge, to be released August 5, 2025, FIRST LEGO League teams will uncover the past to discover the future.
Whether you’re new to robotics or an experienced enthusiast, there’s a place for you in FLL! Join our FLL teams and take part in this exciting journey of exploration and learning.
