The FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge (FLL) is an internationally acclaimed STEM program that empowers students aged 9 to 14 to explore science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun, hands-on way. Through the excitement of designing, building, and coding LEGO® robots, young minds are challenged to think creatively and solve real-world problems as a team.
The FLL Challenge is more than just robotics—it’s a full-circle experience in innovation, research, and teamwork. Each season, teams are given a new real-world theme. Guided by the Core Values of FIRST®—discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork, and fun—students:
Design, build, and program autonomous robots using LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime to complete specific missions on a challenge mat.
Conduct research and develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem related to the theme.
Present their project and robot design to judges during official tournaments.
By joining the FLL program at STEMOTICS, students will:
Strengthen critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.
Gain hands-on experience with robotics, engineering design, and computer programming.
Explore real-world challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Be mentored by experienced STEM educators and robotics coaches.
Have access to state-of-the-art LEGO robotics kits and structured training.
This season’s theme, UNEARTHED™, launches on August 5, 2025.
Teams will explore the fascinating world of archaeology—uncovering artifacts, stories, and lost knowledge to shape a better future.
