Promoting the love of engineering and hands-on learning, these camps are led by engaging instructors who provide ‘edutainment’. Campers create by designing, building, learning, and experimenting in our labs and classrooms.

To Register: |
You can find the online registration by clicking the REGISTER button on the top menu. If you prefer to make payment at our location using Credit/Debit Card/Cheque/Cash payment, please complete the registration online and select offline payment. Bring the registration ID along with your payment. Due to limited spaces in each camp, we cannot reserve a space for your child until we receive your payment. |
Camper-to-Instructor Ratio: |
There will be no more than ten children in each camp. Each camp will have at least one instructor and one counsellor. Camps with more than ten children registered are split into multiple groups, and additional camp counsellors are on-site in the appropriate ratios.
All counsellors have experience with children and current police reference checks and are passionate about sharing their love of science with children! |
Refund Policy: |
If refunds are requested two weeks before the start date, registration fees are refundable minus a $35 administration fee. If refunds are requested within two weeks of the start date, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. Refunds will not be made if the cancellation request is made within (3) full working days before camp commencement. |
Schedule changing: |
If you would like to change or swap the week you have signed up for, this can be done at no cost, provided seats are available in the requested week. |
Camp Themes: |
Each camp theme is different, so your child can enjoy them without repeating activities. Many children sign up for multiple camps or even repeat the same category and still enjoy it! Please refer to the camp descriptions for full details on each camp. |

Science & Technology
[Ages 4 to 8]
Welcome to our Science & Technology Camp, where young minds explore, create, and learn through hands-on activities and experiments. This engaging camp is designed to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for science, engineering, and discovery in children aged 4 to 8.
Morning Session: LEGO Engineering & Coding
The morning focuses on building and programming with LEGO to explore engineering and science concepts.
- Engineering Structures:
Campers will work collaboratively to build tall LEGO structures, exploring principles of stability and balance. They’ll design symmetrical, heavy-based towers to withstand forces like gravity and wind.
- LEGO Model Building:
Campers will build various models using LEGO kits to learn about gears, pulleys, belts, levers, and axles.
- LEGO Programming:
Using block-based coding software, campers will program their LEGO models to move and complete specific challenges, such as creating machines, vehicles, or animal-inspired designs.
- LEGO Challenges:
Campers will tackle exciting engineering challenges, such as building a LEGO robot or a moving vehicle to solve specific tasks.
Afternoon Session: Science Experiments & Exploration
The afternoon is all about exploring science concepts through hands-on experiments and activities.
- Circuits Exploration:
Campers will create electronic circuits using paper, foil, and batteries, learning about current, resistance, and voltage.
- Scientific Observation:
Using microscopes, campers will observe the microscopic world, learning about atoms and the unseen building blocks of everything around us.
- Space Day:
Campers will dive into the wonders of space, learning about stars, planets, constellations, and solar systems. They’ll also explore how airplanes and birds achieve lift.
- Catapult Experiment:
Campers will design and build their own catapult using sticks and rubber bands. They’ll learn about tension, force, and angles, then test their catapults by launching small objects to hit specific targets.
- Exciting Science Experiments & Activities:
Campers will engage in a variety of fun, hands-on science activities, including:
- Rainbow in a Jar: Explore density and color mixing through this visually stunning experiment.
- Volcano Eruption: Witness a chemical reaction with baking soda and vinegar for a volcanic explosion.
- Slime Experiment: Create stretchy, squishy slime while learning about polymers.
- Balloon Rocket Race: Discover propulsion and physics by building and racing balloon-powered rockets.
- Balloon Static Electricity: experiment with electrical charges using simple materials.
- Magnetic Exploration: Explore magnetism with fun, interactive activities.
- Sink & Float Challenge: Investigate buoyancy and density using everyday objects.
- Nature Scavenger Hunt: Take the learning outdoors to explore and identify natural elements.
This camp offers a perfect blend of LEGO-based engineering in the morning and engaging science exploration in the afternoon. Each day is packed with activities that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and a love for science and technology!
[Ages 9 to 12]
Welcome to our Science & Technology Camp, where older kids delve deeper into STEM concepts through hands-on learning and challenges. This program is tailored for children aged 9 to 12 to enhance their creativity, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
Morning Session: LEGO Engineering & Technology
The morning is dedicated to exploring advanced engineering concepts through LEGO models and technology.
- Self-Driving Cars:
Campers will use LEGO kits to explore the technology behind self-driving cars, including sensors, electric motors, and programming. They will build and program their own models to simulate autonomous driving.
- Engineering Structures:
Using LEGO, campers will learn the principles of bridge construction, including materials, trusses, and stability. They’ll design and build models of strong and safe bridges while learning about load distribution.
- Kinetic & Potential Energy with LEGO:
Campers will build LEGO bikes and participate in a race, exploring the science of kinetic and potential energy. They’ll experiment with how energy is stored and transferred in their models.
- LEGO Programming Challenges:
Campers will program LEGO creations to complete specific tasks, such as navigating a track or simulating real-world movements. These activities enhance their understanding of robotics and coding concepts.
Afternoon Session: Science Experiments & Exploration
The afternoon focuses on hands-on science experiments and exciting explorations of natural phenomena.
- Space Exploration:
Campers will explore the mysteries of space, learning about stars, planets, and gravity. They’ll engage in discussions on astrophysics and experiment with simulations of orbital mechanics.
- Electricity & Circuits:
Campers will learn how current, resistance, and voltage work together by building circuits using Arduino. They’ll also create and test electromagnets to understand how they function and their real-world applications.
- Exciting Science Experiments:
Campers will dive into fun, interactive experiments, including:
- Density Tower: Learn about density by creating colorful liquid layers.
- Fizzing Lemon Volcano: Witness a chemical reaction using lemon juice and baking soda.
- Lava Lamp: Discover density and solubility while creating a glowing lava lamp.
- Invisible Ink: Experiment with acids and bases to send secret messages.
- Magnetic Exploration: Test magnetic properties and learn about the forces of attraction and repulsion.

Coding, Animation and Game Design
Robotics
[Ages 4-8]
In this engaging camp, children aged 4-8 will explore foundational robotics concepts through hands-on activities and interactive challenges. They’ll work with platforms like VEX GO, LEGO WeDo, and Sphero Indi to build and program simple robots. Campers will also dive into creative problem-solving, exploring concepts like motion, energy, and coding in a fun and playful environment. Afternoons include exciting projects with LEGO Spike Essentials and powered machines, fostering teamwork, creativity, and curiosity in STEM.
Morning Sessions: Introduction to Robotics
Campers will explore different robotics platforms each day, building various models to understand STEM concepts in an engaging and hands-on way:
- VEX GO:
VEX GO introduces young learners to STEM through simple building and coding activities. Campers will create models such as a drag racer, robotic arm, or maze navigator, exploring engineering and coding fundamentals. This platform encourages creativity while enhancing problem-solving skills.
- LEGO WeDo 2.0:
With LEGO WeDo, campers will build interactive models like a dancing bird, spinning top, and a pull-along rover. They’ll learn basic programming concepts using drag-and-drop software, enhancing their understanding of pulleys, motors, and sensors.
- Sphero Indi:
Campers will design mazes and program Indi robots to navigate through them. Activities include creating color-coded paths and obstacle courses, fostering computational thinking and introducing the basics of robotics in a playful and engaging way.
Afternoon Session: Advanced Robotics Exploration
Campers will delve deeper into STEM concepts, focusing on logic, physics, and programming:
- Micro:Bit:
Using Micro:Bit, campers will create projects like a digital compass, LED-powered art, or a reaction timer. They’ll learn to connect sensors and program using a drag-and-drop interface, developing basic electronics and coding skills.
- LEGO Spike Essentials:
With LEGO Spike Essentials, campers will build models like a carousel, delivery robot, or catapult launcher. They’ll explore real-world engineering principles and program their creations using Scratch-based software.
- Simple and Powered Machines:
Campers will experiment with models like a mechanical crane, windmill, or balance scale to understand forces, motion, and energy. They’ll conduct tests to observe and record data, fostering analytical and observational skills.
[Ages 9-12]
Designed for older learners, this camp introduces ages 9-12 to advanced robotics and programming. Mornings focus on platforms like LEGO Spike Prime, mBot 2 Neo, and Arduino, allowing campers to build and program robots while exploring real-world applications. Afternoons bring exciting challenges with LEGO Mindstorms EV3, LEGO Mindstorms Inventor, and VEX Robotics, where participants tackle advanced tasks like creating autonomous robots, solving engineering problems, and coding complex systems. This camp fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation in an immersive STEM experience.

- LEGO Spike Prime:
Spike Prime helps campers create interactive models like a soccer bot, smart wind turbine, or a robotic assistant. Using Scratch-based coding, they’ll learn to solve problems, design autonomous behaviors, and explore real-world engineering solutions.
- mBot 2 Neo:
mBot 2 Neo introduces campers to graphical programming and electronics. They’ll build robots such as a line-following robot, a light-chasing car, or a musical robot while exploring advanced concepts like AI and IoT.
- Arduino:
Campers will learn electronics and programming by building projects like a motion-detecting alarm, a temperature-controlled fan, or a LED light show. Arduino enables hands-on learning of circuits and coding for real-world applications.
Afternoon Session: Programming & Challenges
Campers will focus on applying robotics and programming skills to solve real-world challenges:
- LEGO Mindstorms EV3:
Campers will design and program robots like an autonomous vehicle, color-sorting robot, or mechanical arm. Using sensors and motors, they’ll create robots that can perform tasks and respond to their environment.
- VEX IQ Robot:
With VEX IQ, campers will build robots like a tower-climbing robot, block-stacking machine, or precision grabber. They’ll develop coding skills and tackle challenges like navigating mazes or competing in tasks.
- LEGO Mindstorms Inventor:
Campers will explore the latest in LEGO robotics by building models like a brick-eating crocodile, walking robot, or a ball-launching turret. Using the LEGO Robot Inventor App, they’ll program their creations with Scratch or Python, learning how to control motors, sensors, and interactive elements to bring their robots to life.
- VEX AIM Robot:
Campers will delve into advanced robotics with the VEX AI Robot, creating models like an object-detecting bot, an AI-powered delivery robot, or a multi-tasking autonomous vehicle. Using AI vision systems and complex programming, campers will explore cutting-edge robotics concepts.

[Ages 4-8]

Mornings focus on 3D design with tools like 3Doodlers, Tinkercad, and Makers Empire 3D, where campers will create fun models and learn spatial reasoning. They’ll also dive into digital art with Tux Paint and graphic tablets. Afternoons highlight presentation and design skills with Google Slides, Kahoot!, and Canva, where campers will create fun flyers, quizzes, and slideshows. This camp inspires creativity and builds foundational tech skills in a fun and interactive way.
Morning Session: Creative Digital Tools

- 3Doodlers: Campers will bring their ideas to life with this easy-to-use 3D printing pen. They’ll create 3D models like toys, gadgets, or simple structures, developing design, planning, and spatial understanding skills.
- Tinkercad: Young learners will dive into 3D design with Tinkercad, creating basic shapes and designs. They’ll learn how to bring their creations to life through 3D printing, enhancing geometry and spatial reasoning skills.
- Makers Empire 3D: This fun and intuitive app will let campers design imaginative 3D objects such as keychains, simple animals, or creative tools, fostering problem-solving and design skills.
- Tux Paint: Campers will explore digital drawing through this child-friendly program, guided by a cartoon mascot. They’ll create colorful and imaginative artwork while building fine motor and computer literacy skills.

[Ages 9-12]

In the afternoon, they’ll dive into logo and banner creation using Adobe Express and Logo Maker, build personal websites with Weebly/Wix, and craft laser-engraved items. Morning Session: Advanced Digital Tools & Presentations
Campers will explore powerful tools to create stunning presentations and digital projects:
- Google Slides:
Campers will learn to create visually engaging presentations using Google Slides. They’ll work on projects like travel itineraries, STEM experiment results, or creative storytelling presentations with animations, embedded videos, and transitions.
- Microsoft Sway:
Campers will design interactive and multimedia-rich presentations using Microsoft Sway. They’ll create digital newsletters, portfolio showcases, or visual storytelling projects, learning to combine text, images, and videos seamlessly.
- Creative Coding with Pixel Art (ImagiCharm):
Campers will design and program animated pixel art using Python on ImagiCharm. Projects may include animated animals, game characters, or emoji expressions, integrating coding concepts like loops, conditions, and variables into artistic creations.
- 3D Printing:
Using beginner-friendly software, campers will create custom models such as personalized keychains, desk organizers, or mini figurines that will be 3D-printed to take home.
Afternoon Session: Design, Branding & Fabrication
Campers will delve into creative design and branding using modern digital tools:
- Logo Design:
Campers will design unique logos using online tools like Adobe Express and Logo Maker. Projects will include creating personal brand logos, team emblems, or product icons while learning about typography, color schemes, and visual identity.
- Banner Design:
Campers will create stunning digital banners for social media platforms, event promotions, or class projects using Adobe Express. They’ll learn about layout, composition, and effective design techniques.
- Weebly/Wix Website Design:
Campers will build personal websites to showcase their projects, such as e-portfolios, blogs, or online stores. They’ll integrate their logos, banners, and designs into their websites for a cohesive brand.
- Laser Engraving Projects:
Campers will finalize their day with creative laser engraving activities, such as crafting engraved bookmarks, decorative plaques, or custom coasters, applying their design skills to physical items.
