What is First® LEGO® League Explore.?

FIRST® LEGO® League Explore., created through a partnership between FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO® Group, inspires future scientists and engineers.

Guided by adult coaches and FIRST® Core Values, students build models using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0 and create Show Me posters to present what they learned. The program focuses on building interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through a real-world challenge—to be solved by research, critical thinking, and imagination.

Why join FIRST® LEGO® League EXPLORE?

It was developed to introduce 6 to 10-year-olds (grades K-4) to science concepts and teamwork.

The program was created through a partnership between FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and the LEGO® Group.

FIRST® LEGO® League Explore. captures young children’s curiosity and directs it toward discovering the wonders of science and technology.

It all adds up to tons of fun while they learn to apply science, technology, engineering, and math concepts (STEM), plus a big dose of imagination, to solve a problem. Along with their discovery journey, they develop critical thinking and team-building skills, basic STEM applications, and even presentation skills, as they must present their solutions with a dash of creativity to judges. They also practice the program’s signature Core Values.

Course Fee: $150/Month [4 Month Program-August to December] 

  • There is a possibility of moving forward from January to March if selected for the provincial competition.
